MAISON SACKO & DIA

House Book

Founding Edition · 2026

A design house for places, properties and experiences.

00

Opening

A design house for places, properties and experiences.

Maison Sacko & Dia is an independent design house working across architecture, spatial experience, brand, digital experience, visualization and technology.

Two founders. One standard.

01

The House

Why the house exists.

A property is not felt through architecture alone. Space, identity, interface, technology, atmosphere and human interaction all shape it.

Maison Sacko & Dia holds those layers together so the world around a place can read as one experience.

02

The Position

A design house for places, properties and experiences.

We design places, properties and the experiences around them.

People meet a property through space, material, identity, signage, interfaces, technology, service, information, movement and atmosphere.

That is our design philosophy. It is how we work. It is not a claim about how the industry must work.

03

The Territory

Property Experience Design

Property Experience Design is a territory we are developing: connecting architecture, spatial experience, brand, digital products, interfaces and technology around how a property is lived.

It is our working ground. The category earns meaning through method, projects and repeated outcomes. We do not claim to have invented it.

04

The Belief

The built environment deserves the same care as the best-designed products.

Architecture does not end at the building.

  • Quality over volume

Pursue work that strengthens the house rather than accepting every available project.

  • The whole is greater than the deliverable

Isolated outputs matter less than how space, identity, interface and technology hold together.

  • A property is experienced, not simply occupied

Arrival, navigation, interaction and atmosphere shape how a place is understood.

  • Brand is not decoration

Identity belongs to the place. It is not applied after the fact.

  • Technology should belong to the environment

Systems and interfaces should feel native to the property, not bolted on.

  • Good design requires judgment

Tools accelerate work. Taste, context and responsibility decide it.

  • Complexity should be integrated, not displayed

The reader feels coherence. The machinery stays quiet.

  • The work wins

Challenge ideas hard while respecting the person behind them.

05

The Practice

The house works across places, properties, identities, interfaces and systems.

The promise is integration. Every specialist discipline does not need to sit permanently inside the core.

  • Space

    Architecture · Spatial Experience

  • Identity

Brand Strategy · Identity · Art Direction

  • Digital

UX · UI · Digital Products

  • Visualization

    3D · CGI · Motion · Digital Twins

  • Technology

    Smart Environments · Systems Direction

  • Experience

The relationship between all of the above.

06

The Method

A ten-stage sequence so direction can hold across physical and digital work.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the client, asset, audience, context, business problem and constraints.

  2. 02

    Define

Establish objectives, scope, responsibilities, deliverables and success criteria.

  3. 03

    Concept

Develop the central creative or spatial thesis.

  4. 04

    Design

Translate the thesis into space, brand, digital, visualization and experience as needed.

  5. 05

    Develop

Refine the work with the required specialists.

  6. 06

    Integrate

Make the disciplines read as one experience.

  7. 07

    Present

    Communicate decisions clearly.

  8. 08

    Deliver

    Complete approved deliverables and handover.

  9. 09

    Document

Archive approved case material and project knowledge.

  10. 10

    Learn

Record lessons for the next project.

07

The Founders

Two disciplines. One house.

Raj Sacko

Founder & Creative Director

Raj Sacko

Brand · Digital · UX · Creative Direction · Business Development

Raj works across brand, communication, digital products and experience. He connects strategy with visual and interactive design. Co-founder of Maison Sacko & Dia.

Alassane Dia

Founder & Spatial / Architectural Lead

Alassane Dia

Architecture · Spatial Design · 3D · Visualization

Alassane Dia works across architecture, spatial thinking, 3D and visualization. He explores how place, material and atmosphere shape experience. Co-founder of Maison Sacko & Dia.

Raj leads brand, digital, experience and creative direction.

Dia leads the spatial and architectural side: thinking, development, 3D and visualization.

The complement is deliberate. Neither founder needs to become a generalist in everything. The point is to connect different expertise around the same design problem.

08

The Network

Small core. Exceptional network.

Maison Sacko & Dia stays compact at the core and brings in specialists when a project requires them.

Potential collaborators (not a staff directory):

  • Architects
  • Interior designers
  • Engineers
  • Technical consultants
  • Landscape specialists
  • Lighting specialists
  • Software / product developers
  • Smart-environment integrators
  • CGI / motion specialists
  • Photographers / filmmakers
  • Project managers
  • Consultants

Our responsibility is to assemble the right intelligence around the problem.

09

Intelligence

AI-assisted. Human-directed.

AI can support research, exploration, visualization, prototyping, automation and production. It does not replace judgment.

Taste, context, spatial understanding, experience design and the ability to orchestrate specialists remain central. AI should support the work without becoming the personality of the brand.

  • Human judgment
  • Human review
  • Confidentiality
  • Responsible data handling
  • Copyright-sensitive inputs
  • Client agreements

10

The Standard

We do not manufacture credibility.

Credibility comes from evidence: completed work, accurate case studies, references, partnerships and consistent delivery over time.

  • Quality over volume

Pursue work that strengthens the studio rather than accepting every available project.

  • Long-term reputation

Do not trade long-term trust for short-term revenue without deliberate consideration.

  • Professional honesty

Never claim capabilities, credentials or project experience that we do not possess.

  • Clarity

Be clear about scope, responsibilities and what we can and cannot deliver.

  • Confidentiality

Treat discretion and confidentiality as part of the service.

  • Precision

Prefer specific language and accurate presentation over vague claims.

  • Human-directed technology

Use AI and emerging tools as leverage, not as substitutes for judgment.

  • The work wins

Challenge ideas hard while respecting the person behind them.

11

Working with Clients

The house does not simply provide isolated deliverables.

We start with context, asset, audience, business problem, constraints and ambition. Then we set objectives, scope, responsibilities, deliverables and success criteria before the work expands.

We weigh strategic fit, creative ambition, client seriousness, required expertise, timeline, capacity and whether the work strengthens the house.

Not every opportunity is the right opportunity.

We want a high-value practice around ambitious problems, not maximum project volume.

Client and partner information stays protected. Commercial and legal terms live in contracts, not in this publication.

12

Building the House

We are building the House deliberately.

Maison Sacko & Dia is a founding-stage studio. The direction is clear. The practice is built through work, relationships and method, not through manufactured scale.

Growth should come through stronger projects, better relationships, specialist partnerships, repeat clients, proprietary methods and, in time, scalable products or systems.

13

The Long View

A compact, internationally minded design house working across architecture, spatial experience, brand, digital experience, visualization and technology.

Possible future extensions (not current departments):

  • Spatial Experience
  • Brand Experience
  • Digital Experience
  • Visualization
  • Technology Experience

Long-term ambition includes projects across architecture, real estate, hospitality, residential development and property technology, as commissions allow.

Directions we intend to build toward. Conceptual until commissioned. Never presented as client work.

Credibility is built through evidence.

Evidence can include completed work, accurate case studies, references, recognition, partnerships and consistent delivery. We do not invent evidence that does not yet exist.
